ENZYME IMMOBILISATION :-

Enzyme immobilisation may be defined as the technique to stop the free movement of enzymes in a cell.....OR.....it may be defined as the procedure of arresting the movement of enzymes by the help of an inert insoluble material such as calcium alginate.
---This technique is quite useful in isolation of desired enzymes from biological systems.
